Rockin' Lancaster

This year I will be one of the artists participating in the Lancaster County Cultural History Museum's fund raising project, "Rockin' Lancaster." Selected artists have been asked to create a rocking chair, either from a child's rocker supplied by the museum or by creating one of their own design. I elected to use the one supplied and have decorated it with images similar to those in my new paintings. The event kicks off at the museum on First Friday, June 2nd. The chairs will then move to various locations in the city to be displayed for the summer. The chairs will be auctioned off at a fundraiser in September.
